A scalar robot using a μDD motor (built in-house for accuracy experiment)
A direct drive motor with a hollow shaft is used, so the size of the robot became compact by passing cables through the hollow shaft.
The base of a scalar robot is made of acrylic material.
The stop accuracy of 1μm is confirmed at the tip of approximately 30cm from the motor shaft.
