Nippon Pulse Motor offers EC-AD series drivers supporting EtherCAT, CiA402 drive profile and PP mode. The drivers are capable of DC(Distributed Clock) synchronization: high-speed response at 250 μs cycle time.
The motion control cores are equipped with NPM’s Pulse Control LSIs, which perform acceleration/deceleration positioning, origin return operations, etc. inside the boards according to the commands from upper controllers. The drivers are also capable of counting the mechanical position by encoder inputs.
